OK. Sometimes it just helps to admit a craving, especially when it comes unexpectedly and inexplicably.
I have been thinking about bread pudding recently. Maybe it will just take one serving with a ladling of bourbon sauce to calm me, soothe me, send me back to other, everyday treats. Or maybe not.
In moderation it might fit admirably with a diet of greens and grains and fresh fruit and vegetables. I'm hoping so.
Maybe it's the approach of Mardi Gras?
